SYRIAN REFUGEES IN THE TURKEY'S CAMPS: Problems, Expectations, Turkey and Future Perception

ÖZ

This study is about the problems, expectations, Turkey and future perceptions of the refugees that have come to Turkey and are staying in Şanlıurfa, Harran and Akçakale "Tent Cities" due to the civil war in Syria. The fact that there is scarcely any scientific study regar- ding the "Syrian refugees", the number of which exceeds hundred thousand in our country, has set forth the necessity to examine this issue. The research performed within this framework is based on a field research questioning the socio-economic and demographic qualifications, camp satisfactions and Turkey and future perceptions of the refugees. During the research, "survey" and "focus group" techniques have been used as information gathering instruments.
